- In accordance with national quarantine measures, in cases of complying sincerely with the monitoring, urgent living assistance is also provided.

□ The Ministry of Health &Welfare, Central MERS countermeasures headquarter is requesting not only Koreans but also foreign workers and foreigners staying in Korea who are suspected having MERS symptoms or had contacted with patients, must actively report to health center or MERS Call Center (no area code 109).

○ For the purpose of preventing additional spread of MERS, in accordance with the Infection Management Act Ordinance and related guidelines, also in cases of quarantine or hospitalization, daily monitoring, etc. if quarantine measures are sincerely implemented urgent living assistance for foreigners are also provided.

○ In addition, even if the health center or hospital knows about the patient’s personal information during MERS examination, they will not inform other institution or used it in other purposes.  Anyone should feel secure to receive examination or treatment.
