Danuri Helpline(1577-1366) is designed to provide customized,
comprehensive services for marriage immigrants and multicultural families. It also reaches out to immigrant victims offering human rights protection services including counseling and emergency support.

Service details

Danuri Call Center Services : A chart detailing violence relief, follow-up, comprehensive living information, everyday interpretation and simultaneous phone interpretation, family counseling and married couple counseling, and legal counseling services provided by Danuri Call Center.

Domestic Violence Relief and Follow-up
  • Emergency shelter for women and children
  • Shelter for women from domestic violence, sexual violence, and sexual labor.

Comprehensive Living Information
  • Multicultural family support project

Everyday Interpretation and Simultaneous Phone Interpretation Services
  • Communication with family members
  • Simultaneous interpretation for police, hospital, regional community, education institute, and bank
Family Counseling and Married Couple Counseling
  • Counseling and interpretation for overcoming family conflicts.
Legal Counseling
  • Legal counseling in conjunction with the Korean Bar Association
    • 14:00 to 16:00 every Tuesday (booking required)

  • Phone counseling: simultaneous phone interpretation, around the clock (1577-1366)
  • Online counseling: www.liveinkorea.kr one-on-one counseling (go to online counseling)
  • In-person counseling: Counseling by a dispatched Danuri counselor (appointment necessary)
  • Site counseling: Counseling at Danuri Helpline (appointment necessary)
