QHow can I receive a legal advice service on the phone?
A

The Danuri Call Center (1577-1366) carries out the lawyer’s legal advice service through phone or interview every Tuesday (once a week) in conjunction with the Korean Bar Association.

If you call 1577-1366 for the request in advance, the center will provide the service.


QI can’t speak Korean well. It is difficult to explain in Korean when I go to the pharmacy to buy medicine or go to see a doctor. Can I receive help?

If you call the Danuri Call Center (1577-1366), the call center staff, who speaks your language, will interpret to your doctor or pharmacist.

QCan a child of multicultural family receive child care benefit?
A

The children aged between 0 and 5 of multicultural family, who use the daycare center, can receive the child care benefit. However, the child care benefit will be differentiated according to the hours staying at the daycare center.

QHow much can I receive for child care benefit?

Regardless of the income level, the family can receive child care benefit for infants and toddlers looked after at home. However, the child should not be looked after by other childcare services such as daycare center, kindergarten, or full-day childcare service.

The government sends a Korean helper for the mother and the newborn baby according to the income level. The operation status is different for each region. For further information, please contact the relevant community health center.

QHow can I apply for the public nanny service?
A

The application method is different according to the income level. For the request for the government support, the applicant should visit the local eup, myeon, and dong community service center registered on the child’s resident registration to confirm the income type, and register as a user with the homepage and apply for the service.

If you belong to the Ra-type, meaning that you have to pay the entire service charge by yourself, join the membership with the public nanny service (http://www.idolbom.go.kr) online and after the approval of your full membership, apply for the service.
